This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the
following prayer:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus
commanding the respondents to protect the petitioner's right of
life and property of abadi land of Khasra No. 255 & 248
situated in Village Autarpur, Pargana Bihar, Tehsil Kunda,
Police Station Baghrai, District Pratapgarh, which is illegally
grabbed by the land grabber of the village by manipulation in
the revenue record with the help of local revenue authority."
A preliminary objection has been raised by the learned Standing
counsel appearing on behalf of the State with regard to the
maintainability of this petition on the ground that the petitioner
has an alternative remedy under Section 67 of Uttar Pradesh
Revenue Code, 2006 against the impugned action.
In case any such proceedings are initiated, it is expected that the
competent authority shall proceed expeditiously in accordance
with law.
With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is accordingly
disposed of.
