Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planing (Amendment) Act, 1991*

An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971

Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the forty-second year of the Republic of India as follows:

* Received the assent of the Governor on the 25th October, 1991 and published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary.

Section 1. Short title and commencement

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planing (Amendment) Act, 1991.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

Section 2. Amendment of section 124

2. Amendment of section 124.- In the Tamil Nadu ??? and Country Planning Act, 1971, in ??? 124, in sub-section (1) after the words "make regulations", the words "whether prospectively or retrospectively" shall be inserted.
