Himachal Pradesh War Awards (Amendment) Act, 1994*

An Act further to amend the Himachal Pradesh War Awards Act, 1972 (Act No. 9 of 1972).

Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Forty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title and commencement

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh War Awards (Amendment) Act, 1994.

(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 1st day of January, 1993.

Section 2. Amendment of section 3

2. Amendment of section 3.- In section 3 of the Himachal Pradesh War Awards Act, 1972 (Act No. 9 of 1972).

(i) in clause (a), for the words "throe hundred", the words "six hundred" shall be substituted;

(ii) in clause (b), for the words "two hundred", the words "four hundred" shall be substituted; and

(iii) in paras (i) and (ii) of the first proviso, for the words "one ???" and "twenty", the words "two hundred" and "forty" shall respectively be substituted.
