    Final Order / Judgement

Challenging the decision of the Ld. District Forum to dismiss their complaint case vide impugned order, this Appeal is moved by Sri Binoy Kumar Bhuin & Ors. The dispute between the parties, as it emerges from the documents on record, relates to 5 insurance policies stood in the names of the Appellants. The case of the Appellants is that, they requested their bankers to facilitate payment of premiums in respect of subject policies through ECS. However, as the Respondent Insurance Company were erratic in realizing the same from their accounts, the policies got lapsed; hence, the complaint. On the other hand, the Respondents submitted that the subject policies attained lapsed status for non-payment of

premiums in time. Heard both sides in the matter and perused the documents on record. On a reference to the impugned order, it is observed that the Ld. District Forum passed a speaking order in the matter. In respect of two policies out of the total five policies bearing nos. 436153688 and 437442831, ECS were not cleared owing to insufficient fund. In respect of rest of the three policies, viz., Policy Nos. 496219342, 496673269 and 436127341, the Appellants did not opt for ECS at all. In absence of any counter document to prove otherwise, we find no reason to take a differing view vis-à-vis the Ld. District Forum in the matter. There being no infirmity with the impugned order, we dismiss this Appeal. No costs.
