Through this interlocutory application, the petitioner, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited prays for grant of time up to 31.7.2010 for filing the revised petition for determination of tariff for 400 kV Korba Transmission System in Western Region for the period from 1.4.2009 to 31.3.2014
2. The Commission vide its order dated 2.2.2010 in I.A No. 8/2010 in Petition No. 145/2009 allowed the petitioner to file by 30.4.2010 revised petition for approval of transmission tariff for the above mentioned transmission system.
3. The petitioner has submitted that the information on additional capital expenditure expected to be incurred during the period 2009-14 has not yet been firmed up. As a result, the petitioner is not in a position to submit the revised petition by 30.4.2010 and has sought extension of time till 31.7.2010 to file revised petition.
4. The prayer made by the petitioner is allowed. The petitioner may file revised petition for approval of transmission tariff in accordance with Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2009 for the transmission system by 31.7.2010 after serving copies of the petition on the respondents.
