    Q. Masilamani v. Arunga Mudali

It is clear that in this case the application for copy might have been presented on the day on which the judgment was delivered; which fact distinguishes the case from that reported in Saminatha Aiyar v. Venkatasubba Aiyar. We think the appeal was time-barred. In this case we are supported by Tanjore Palace Estate v. Andi Ramiah Chetty, and by a recent case, as yet un-reported (S. R. No. 18328 of 1919).

We find no ground for excusing this delay; and the appeal must be dismissed with costs.

    S. S.Appeal dismissed.
