Imphal, March 4, 202] No. 2/13/2021-Leg/L: The following Act of the Legislature, Manipur which received assent of the Governor of Manipur on February 25, 2021 is hereby published in the Official Gazette:
THE MANIPUR CONSERVATION OF PADDY LAND AND WETLAND
(AMENDMENT) ACT, 2021
(MANIPUR ACT NO. 12 OF 2021)
AN
/ ACT further to amend the Manipur Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2014.
BE it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Seventy- second Year of the Republic of India as follows :-
1. (1) | Act may be called the Manipur Conservation of Short title and Paddy Land and Wetland (Amendment) Act, 2021. COMMENRCeMEnN.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force from 14"
October, 2020.
Amendment of Act No. 10 of 2. In section 3 of the Manipur Conservation of Paddy Land and section 3. 7014. Wetland Act, 2014,-
(i) for (.), (:) shall be substituted; and
(ii) the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-
"Provided that agricultural land already diverted without the approval of Government before the commencement of this Act shall be dealt with under section 20 of the Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms Act, 1960.". — 33 of

Ba Repeal and 3. (1) The Manipur Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetlana savings. (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 (Ordinance No. 6 of 2020) is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken unde; the corresponding provisions of this Act.
