J [i~-~-80J~.A to amend the Bihar Control of the Use and Play of Loudspeakers Act, 1955, as extended to 'I'rfpura:
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Tripura in the Thirtieth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. (1) This Act may be called the Bihar Control. of the Use and Play of Loudspeakers (Tripura Amend-· ment) Act, 1980.
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Tripura.
(3) It shall come into force at-once. 2: In section 3 of the Bihar Control of the Use
and PIQ.y of Loudspeakers Act, 1955, as extended to Tripura and in its application in Tripura,-
(a) at the end of clause (d), the mark "Colon" shall be omitted and the mark and word " ; or" shall be inserted;
(b) after clause (d), so amended, the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-
"(e), delivering more than 200 mili watt out-put or capable of being heard beyond a radius of 200 feet from the point of installation, without the permission. ip, wrrting of the prescribed authority.".
