In the Gujarat Agicultural Lands Ceiling Act 1960 (hereinafter referred '
to as "the principal Act,), in section 3, in sub-section (l), the existing clause (d.dd) shall be rcnurrbercd as sub.clause (i) of that clause and after sub_clause
(i) as so renumbered, the following sub_clause shall be inserted, namely:-

"(ii) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub.clause (i) above, the State Govemmenr may, after being satisfid by notification in the Ofrcial Gazette, waive the said period for registration ofseparate public trust fqr such irstitution in such circumstances and on such terms_and conditions as may be specified therein.,,.
