Whereas it Js ·e:xpedicat f\irtber ·to amend tlw Assam Etitry Tax Act, 2008, ~referred to as the principlll Act, in the manner ~appeulng:
It is hereby enacted io the Sixty-third Year of Republic of India as follows :-
1. (1) This Act may be aalled tbC Assam Entry Tax:(Amendment) i\ct, Amenclmontof 2.

, (2) It shall have the like extent as the principal Act.
(3) .It shall come into fbt'Ce atonCe. in the principal Act, in the Schedule. for Serial No.59 with entries thereto, the followfna shall be substituted, namely::-
