(3) It shall come into force at once.

•• Whereas .it is expedient to amend the AmmAct Dibrugarh University Act, 1965, hereinafter / called the principal Act, in the manner herein-1'*5, after appearing;

1.' (1) This Act may be called the Dibrugarh University (Amendment) Act, 1976. | |

(2) It shall have like extent as the principal Act.

In Section 10 of 'the principal Act, after clause (3), the following shall be inserted as clause (4) and subsequent clauses viz. clauses (4) and (5) shall be renumbered as clauses (5) and (6) respectively.

"(4) The Vice-Chancellor shall retire on .the date he attains the age of 65 years."
