Preamble

An Act to repeal the Bengal Settled Estates Act, 1904.

Whereas it is expedient to repeal the Bengal Settled Estates Act, 1904 (Ben. Act III of 1904);

It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-fourth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the West Bengal Settled Estates (Repealing) Act, 1973.

Section 2. Repeal of Ben. Act III of 1904

2. Repeal of Ben. Act III of 1904.- The Bengal Settled Estates Act, 1904, is hereby repealed.
