Preamble

An Act to repeal the West Bengal Fire Services (Maintenance of Discipline) Act, 1974.

Whereas it is expedient to repeal the West Bengal Fire Services (Maintenance of Discipline) Act, 1974 (West Ben. Act XLIII of 1974);

It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-ninth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the West Bengal Fire Services (Maintenance of Discipline) Repealing Act, 1978.

Section 2. Repeal of West Ben. Act XLIII of 1974

2. Repeal of West Ben. Act XLIII of 1974.- The West Bengal Fire Services (Maintenance of Discipline) Act, 1974 is hereby repealed.
