An Act further to amend the Uttar Pradesh Krishi Utpadan Mandi Samitis (Alpkalik Vyavastha) Adhiniyam, 1972.
It is hereby enacted in the fifty third year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Krishi Utpadan Mandi Samitis (Alpkalik Vyavastha) (Uttaranchal Amendment Adhiniyam, 2001).
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on December 27, 2000.
Section 2. Amendment of Section 2 of U.P. Act No. 7 of 1972
2. Amendment of Section 2 of U.P. Act No. 7 of 1972.- In section 2 of the Uttar Pradesh Krishi Utpadan Mandi Samiti (Aipakalik Vyavastha) Adhiniyam, 1972 hereinafter referred to as the principal Act in sub-section (1) for the word and figure "till December 31, 2000" the word and figures "till December 31, 2001" shall be substitued.
Section 3. Repeal and saving
3. Repeal and saving.- (1) The Uttar Pradesh Krishi Utpadan Mandi Samiti (Alpakalik Vyavastha) (Uttaranchal Amendment) Act, 2000 is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal anything done or any action the corresponding provisions of the principal Act as amended by the Ordinance referred tain sub-section (1), shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of the principal Act as amended by this Act, as if the provisions of this Act were in force at all material times.
