Tamil Nadu Entertainments Tax (Third Amendment) Act, 1991*

An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Entertainments Tax Act, 1939.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Forty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Entertainments Tax (Third Amendment) Act, 1991.
(2) Section 2 shall be deemed to have come into force on the 4th day of February, 1991 and section 3 shall be deemed to have come into force on the 25th day of February, 1991.
Section 2. Amendment of
2. Amendment of.- In Schedule I to the Tamil Nadu Entertainments Tax Act, 1939 (Tamil Nadu X of 1939) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act),-
(1) in Part B, under the heading "Salem district", after item 3, the following item shall be added, namely:-
"4. Kumarapalayam.";
(2) in Part C, under the heading "Salem district", item 5 "Kumarapalayam" shall be omitted.
Section 3
3. In Schedule II to the principal Aat, under the heading "Chengai-Anna district" after item 28, the following item shall be added, namely:-
"29. Nandivaram-Kuduvajneheri.".
