An Act to amend the Pandit Sundarlal Sharma (Open) University Chhattisgarh Act, 2004 (No. 26 of 2004).
Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty-seventh year of the Republic of India, as follows:-
Section 1. Short title, extent and commencement
1. Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Pandit Sundarlal Sharma (Open) University Chhattisgarh (Amendment) Act, 2006
(2) It extends to the whole State of Chhattisgarh.
(3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Section 2. Definition
2. Definition.- In this Act, unless the ??? other wise requires:-
"Principal Act" means Pandit Sundarlal Sharma (Open) University Chhattisgarh (Amendment) Act, 2004 (No. 26 of 2004).
Section 3. Amendment of Section 9
3. Amendment of Section 9.- In sub-section (8) of Section 9 of the Principal Act, for the word "two" the word "Five" stall be substituted.
