THE NAGALAND LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY MEMBERS, SALARIES, ALLOWANCES AND
PENSION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1994 (THE NAGALAND ACT NO. 4 OF 1994)

An Act Further to amend the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Members’ Salaries, Allowances and Pension Act, 1964. Whereas it is expedient to amend the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Members’ Salaries, Allowances and Pension Act, 1964 (Nagaland Act No. 6 of 1964) in the manner hereunder appearing. It is hereby enacted in the forty fifth year of the Republic of India as follows 1. Short title and Commencement (I) This Act may be called the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Members’ Salaries and
Pension (Amendment) Act, 1994. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of Section 4 of Nagaland Act No. 6 of 1964.
In Section 4 of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Members’Salaries, Allowances and Pension Act, 1964 (Nagaland Act No:6 of 1964), the following be inserted after Sub-Section (ii) as hereunder
(iii) “Hospitality allowance” at the rate of Rupees one thousand per mensem. (iv) “News Paper and Magazine allowance” at the rate of Rupees two hundred fifty per
mensem.
