Nagaland Eviction of Persons in Unauthorised Occupation of Public Land (Amendment) Act, 19721

An Act to amend the Nagaland Eviction of Persons in Unauthorised Occupation of Public Land Act, 1971 and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
It is hereby enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Nagaland in the twenty-third year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title, extent and commencement
1. Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Nagaland Eviction of Persons in Unauthorised Occupation of Public Land (Amendment) Act, 1972.
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Nagaland.
(3) It shall come into force at once.
Section 2. Amendment of Section 2
2. Amendment of Section 2.- In section 2 of the Nagaland Eviction of Persons in Unauthorised Occupation of Public Land Act, 1971:-
(a) in sub-section (a)(ii), the words "central or" shall be omitted.
(b) in sub-section (b), the words "central or" shall be omitted.
