ACT No. 42 OF 1985.
An ~ f l to provide for the extension of the ordinary originul civil juri,sdiction of the Madray High Court to certain areas.
BE it enacted bv the Legislature of the State of Tamil Nadu ,in khe Tlirty-sixth Pear of the Republic of India. as follows :--
I . Short title and saving.-(1) This Act may be called the 31 adras High Court (Jurisdictional Limits) Extension Act, 1985.
(2) Nothing in this Act shall affect any suit or other kgd xoceeding pending in anv court at the date of tlie commencement )f this Act.
