Evacuee Interest (Separation) Supplementary Act, 1960

MADHYA PRADESH ACT 024 OF 1960

An Act further to supplement certain provisions of the Evacuee Interest (Separation) Act, 1951, in their application to the State of Madhya Pradesh.

Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh legisletive the Eleventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:

Section 1. Short title and extent

(1) This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Evacuee Interest (Separation) Supplementary Act, 1960.

(2) It shall extend to the whole of Madhya Pradesh.

Section 2. Application of Evacuee Interest Separations Amendment 373 Act, 1960 to the State

The Evacuee Interest (Separation) Amendment Act, 1960 (No. 27 of 1960), shall, in so far as it relates to any matter enumerated in List II of the Seventh Schedule to the Constitution, it as valid in the State of Madhya Pradesh as if the provisions contained therein had enacted in the Legislature of the State.

Section 3. Repeal

The Madhya Pradesh Evacuee Interest (Separation) Supplementary Ordinance, 1960 (5 of 1960), is hereby repealed.
