Indian Stamp (Haryana Amendment) Act, 2006*

An Act further to amend the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, in its application to the State of Haryana.

Be it enacted by lite Legislature of the State of Haryana in the ???-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Indian Stamp (Haryana Amendment) Act, 2006.

Section 2. Amendment of Schedule 1-A to Central Act 2 of 1899

2. Amendment of Schedule 1-A to Central Act 2 of 1899.- In Schedule 1-A to the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 under ??? "Proper ??? Duty",-

(I) against article 4, for the words "Three rupees", the words "Ten rupees" shall be substituted;

(II) against article 48-

(i) against clause (c), for the words "Three rupees", the words "One hundred rupees" shall be substituted; and

(ii) against clause (d) of the words "Fifteen rupees" the words "Three hundred rupees" shall be substituted.
