An Act to amend the Himachal Pradesh Moter Vehicles Taxation Act, 1972 (Act No. 4 of 1973)

Be it enacted I by the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly in the Twenty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title and commencement

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment) Act, 1977.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

Section 2. Amendment of the Schedule

2. Amendment of the Schedule.- In item No. 4 of the Schedule to Himachal Pradesh Moter Vehicles Taxation Act, 1972 (4 of 1973) the following sub-items (iii) and (iv) shall be inserted, namely:-

"(iii) Motor vehicles or her than motor cabs Rs. 100/- per scat subject and stage carriages, having seating to maximum or Rs. 4,000. capacity of more than six persons.

(iv) Motor vehicles covered under partition Rs. 100/- per seat subject cular stage carriage permit playing for to maximum of Rs. 4,000, hire and reward or otherwise."
