Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities (Haryana Amendment) Act, 1996*

An Act to amend the Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities Act, 1970, in its application to the State of Haryana.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Forty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities (Haryana Amendment) Act, 1996.

Section 2. Amendment section 9 Central Act of 1970

2. Amendment section 9 Central Act of 1970.- To clause (i) of section 9 of the Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities Act, 1970, the following proviso shall be added, namely:-

"Provided that the University shall not ??? any non-teaching post or revise the pay scales of the non-teaching employees without obtaining the approval of the Government;".
