Gujarat Private Forests (Acquisition) Amendment Act, 1974*

Enacted by the President in the Twenty-fifth Year of the Republic of India
An Act to amend the Gujarat Private Forests (Acquisition) Act, 1972.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Gujarat State Legislature (Delegation of Powers) Act, 1974 (11 of 1974), the President is pleased to enact as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Gujarat Private Forests (Acquisition) Amendment Act, 1974.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
Section 2. Amendment of section 11
2. Amendment of section 11.- In section 11 of the Gujarat Private Forests (Acquisition) Act, 1972, (Gujarat Act 14 of 1973) for sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be, and shall be deemed always to have been, substituted, namely:-
"(2) Such application shall be made in the prescribed form before the 31st December, 1974."
