An Act further to amend the Arunachal University Act, 1984 (Act No. 1 of 1984)
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh in the Fifty fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and Commencement
1. Short title and Commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Arunachal University (Amendment) Act, 2004.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
Section 2. Insertion of new Section 29(A)
2. Insertion of new Section 29(A).- In the Arunchal University Act, 1984 (herein referred to as the principal Act) after Section 29, the Following Section shall be inserted, namely:-
"29(A) The State Government shall for the purposes of this Act, contribute annually to the University Fund a sum of Rupees eight crore fifty nine lakh to the recurring charges of the University".
