An Act further to amend the Andhra Pradesh Sugarcane (Regulation of supply and purchase) Act, 1961.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Forty-sixth Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Sugarcane (Regulation of Supply and Purchase) (Amendment) Act, 1995.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 6th January, 1995
Section 2. Amendment of Section 21 Act XLV of 1961
2. Amendment of Section 21 Act XLV of 1961.- In the Andhra Pradesh Sugarcane (Regulation of Supply and Purchase) Act, 1961, in sub-section (1) of section 21, for the words "thirty rupees", to the words one hundred rupees" shall be substituted.
Section 3. Repeal of ordinance of 1995
3. Repeal of ordinance of 1995.- The Andhra Pradesh Sugarcane (Regulation of Supply and Purchase) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1995 is hereby repealed.
