Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1994*

An Act Further to Amend the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965.

Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Forty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title and commencement

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1994.

(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect on and from the 30th March, 1994.

Section 2. Amendment of Section 62A

Section 2. Amendment of Section 62A.- In the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, (Act VI of 1965) in section 62A, in sub-section (1), in the proviso for the words "in the aggregate exceed two years", the words "in the aggregate exceed there years" shall be substituted.

Section 3. Repeal of Ordinance No. 5 of 1994

Section 3. Repeal of Ordinance No. 5 of 1994.- The Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Amendment) Ordinance, 1994 is hereby repealed.
