An Act to repeal the Tea Districts Emigrant Labour (Repeal) Act, 1970

Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1 Received the assent of the President on 27-5-2002 and published in the Gazette of India, Extra., Part II, Section 1, dated 28-5-2002, p. 1, No. 30.

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.-This Act may be called the Tea Districts Emigrant Labour (Repeal) Repealing Act, 2002.

Section 2. Repeal of Act 50 of 1970

2. Repeal of Act 50 of 1970.-The Tea Districts Emigrant Labour (Repeal) Act, 1970 is hereby repealed.
