An Act further to amend the Indian Succession Act, 1925, for a certain purpose.
Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Indian Succession Act, 1925 (XXXIX of 1925), for the purpose hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:-

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Indian Succession (Amendment) Act, 1931.

2. Amendment of sections 223 and 236 Act XXXIX of 1925.- After the word "mind" in sections 223 and 236 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925, the following words shall be added, namely:-
"nor to any association of individuals unless it is a company which satisfies the conditions prescribed by rules to be made by the Governor General in Council in this behalf."
