An Act further to amend the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946

Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1 Received the assent of the President on 6-4-2006 and published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 1, dated 7-4-2006, p. 1, No. 22.

2 Repealed by Act 2 of 2018, S. 2 and Sch. I, dated 8-1-2018.

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.-This Act may be called the Delhi Special Police Establishment (Amendment) Act, 2006.

Section 2. Amendment of Section 4-A

2. Amendment of Section 4-A.-In Section 4-A of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 (25 of 1946), in sub-section (1), for clause (d), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-

"(d) the Secretary to the Government of India in charge of the Ministry or Department of the Central Government having administrative control of the Delhi Special Police Establishment - Member.".
