THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (NO. 2)

ACT, 1992.

[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 29th June, 1992.]

An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1993.

WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty- first day of March, 1993;

It is hereby enacted in the Forty-third Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Short title. (No. 2) Act, 1992.

2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there Issue of Rs. may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in 89,66,29,42,000 out of the column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate [inclusive of the Consoli- West Ben. sums specified in column 3 of the Schedule to the West Bengal dated Fund Act III of of WeSt

1992. Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 1992] to the sum of rupees eight Bengal for thousand nine hundred sixty-six crores twenty-nine lakhs and forty-two the year 1992-93. thousand towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1993, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.

3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria- Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the tion. services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1993.
