[Bihar Act 11, 2020] The Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal (Amendment) Act, 2020
AN
ACT
To amend sub section (a) of section 2 of the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015 (Bihar Act, 19 of 2015).
Be It enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in Seventy First year of the Republic of India as follows :-
1. Short title, extent and commencement.—
(1) This Act may be called the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal (Amendment) Act, 2020.
(2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.
(3) It shall come into force with immediate effect.

2. Addition of a Proviso in sub section (a) of Section-2 of the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015.—The following proviso shall be added in sub section (a) of Section-2 of the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015:-
"Provided the matter related with Ration Card notified under the Bihar Right to Public Services Act, 2011 shall be deemed as complaint under this Act."
3. Repeal and Savings.—
(i) Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 (Bihar Ordinace No.- 05,2020) is hereby repealed.
(ii) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken in exercise of any power conferred by or under the said ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken in exercise of the powers conferred by or under this Act as if this Act were in force on the day on which such thing was done or action taken.
