THE BIHAR APPROPRIATION (VOTE ON ACCOUNT) ACT, 2019
AN
ACT
TO AUTHORISE PAYMENT AND APPROPRIATION OF CERTAIN AMOUNT FROM
AND OUT OF THE CONSOLIDATED FUND OF THE STATE OF BIHAR FOR THE SERVICE
OF FIRST FOUR MONTHS OF YEAR COMMENCING FROM FIRST DAY OF APRIL, 2019.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the seventieth year of Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title, extent and commencement .-
(1) This Act may be called the Bihar Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 2019.
(2) It shall extend whole state of Bihar.
(3) It shall commence from 1st April 2019.
2. From gross expenditure amount of Rs. 201071,02,28,000/- (Two lac one thousand seventy one crore two lac and twenty eight thousand) in financial year 2019-20, whole amount of election, home and disastar management unit and one third (33 %) amount of rest units by rounding off the data next to the multiple of thousand for expenditure, is proposed for grant under vote-on-account.
3. Withdrawal of total Rs.- 77338,52,96,000 (Seventy seven thousand three hundred thirty eight crore fifty two lac and ninety six thousand), out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Bihar for the year 2019-20.-Total of Rs.- 77338,52,96,000 (Seventy seven thousand three hundred thirty eight crore fifty two lac and ninety six thousand), which will not be more than the amount mentioned in column 6 of the schedule of this Act may be withdrawn from the Consolidated Fund of the State of Bihar to meet various expenses to be incurred related to the payment in the year commencing from 01 April, 2019 in relation to the services mentioned in column 2 of the Schedule of this Act.
4. Appropriation.- The amount authorized to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Bihar by this Act shall be appropriated for and in respect of the services and purposes specified in the Schedules in relation to the year commencing from first day of April,2019.
