A»), further to amend the Manipur Secondary Education Act, 1972 (Manipur Act No. 7of 1 972).

BE it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Forty-ninth year of theRepublic of India as follows :-

1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the ManipurSecondary Education (Fourth Amendment) Act, 1998.

(2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, bynotification in the official Gazette, appoint. -

2. Amendment of section 12 :- After sub-section (2) of section 12 of the ManipurSecondary Education Act, 1972, the following sub-section (3) shall be inserted,namely, -

“(3) The terms and conditions of services, qualifications and mode ofrecruitment of the Chairman, Secretary, Controller of Examinationsshall be prescribed by the State Government by Rules”.
