further to amend the Assam Deputy Speaker's Sala- ries and Allowances Act, 1958.
Preamble. W hereas it is expedient fu rther to am end the Assam Deputy Speaker's Salaries and. Allowances Act, 1958, hereinafter called the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing ;
It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-seventh year of the Republic of India as follows :— Sh °and lc (D This Act may be called the Assam

(2) It shall come into force on the 1st day of September, 1986.
Amendment 2. In the principal Act, for Section 2, the 2f0f Asŝ m following shall be substituted, namely:—

"2« Salary of the Deputy Speaker:— There shall be paid to the Deputy Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly a salary of two thousand and five hundred rupees per mensem."
