date on which the Assam Fixatio n of Cei ling on Land Holdings (Amendment) Act , 1986 shal l come into force, whichever is later, cal l any record relating to any final statement and may pass such order or orders as it deems fit after giving the person or persons concerned an oppor- tun ity of being hear d."
(b) Af ter sub-section (6) so substituted, the following shal l be inserted as sub- section (6a), nam el y:—
"(6a) with out prejudice to any action under any other provision of this Act, the State Gove rnment on its own motion, for ends of justice and/or for exceptional circum stances to be recorded in writ ing, may rev iew of any order passed earl ier and may call for any records rela ting to any final statement with in a period of 3 years and pass such order or orders as it deems fit, afte r giving the person or persons concerned an opportunity of being heard."
Re peal ar Q 3 (i) The Assam Fixa tion of Cei ling on Ac Land Holdings (Amendment) Act, 1984 is ° her eby repealed.
(2) Notw ithstanding such repeal, any action taken, decision given, order made, anything done or any proceedings com- menced under the provisions of the Act so repea led and in force immediately before such repeal shall continue in force and shal l be deemed to have been given, done, taken or commenced under the correspon- ding provisions of this Act.
