An Act further to amend the Uttar Pradesh Ministers (Salary, Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1981 (as applicable in the Uttaranchal)
Be it enacted by the State Assembly in the Fifty-sixth year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title, Extent and Commencement
1. Short title, Extent and Commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Uttaranchal [The Uttar Pradesh (Salary, Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1981] (Amendment) Act, 2005.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 01-04-2004.
Section 2. Amendment of section 6
2. Amendment of section 6.- In place of sub-section (1) of section 6 of the Uttar Pradesh (Salary, Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1981 (as applicable in the State of Uttaranchal), the following sub-section (1) shall be substituted:-
"(1) Each Minister other than a Deputy Minister shall be entitled for journeys (whether by land, sea or air) performed in connection with the discharge of his official duties to travelling allowance and out of pocket expenses for himself and the members of his family at such rates and upon such conditions as may be prescribed."
