An Act farther to amend the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Act, 1991

Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadn in the Forty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

* Received the assent of the Governor on the 28th July, 1996 and published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, No. 361, dated July 29, 1996.

Section 1. Short title and commencement

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Amendment Act, 1996.

(2) It shall be come into force on once.

Section 2. Amendment of section 4

2. Amendment of section 4.- In section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Act, 1991 (Tamil Nadu Act ??? 1991) sub-section (2) for the expression "upto the 31st day of May, 1996", the expression "upto the 30st day of September, 1996" shall be substituted.
