An Act to Amend the Talcher Thermal Power Station (Acquisition and Transfer) Act, 1994

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Forty-sixth Year in the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Talcher Thermal Power Station (Acquisition and Transfer) Amendment Act, 1995.

Section 2. Amendment of Section 11

2. Amendment of Section 11.- In the Talcher Thermal Power Station (Acquisition and Transfer) Act, 1904 (Orissa Act 7 of 1995) for section 18, the following Section shall be substituted, namely:-

"18. The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (5 of 1908), the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 (4 of 1882) and the Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908), or in any other State law for the time being in force, or in any instrument having effect by virtue of any of the said laws, other than this Act, or in any decree or order of any court, tribunal or other authority,"
