THE NAGALAND LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY MEMBERS’ SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1969

An Act further to amend the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Members’ Salaries and Allowance Act, 1964. Preamble. It is expedient further to amend the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Members’ Salaries and Allowances Act, 1964 (Nagaland Act, No. 6 of 1964, hereinafter called the Principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing. It is hereby enacted in the Twentieth year of the Republic of India as follows: — 1. Short title and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Members’ Salaries and Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1969. (2) It shall come into force with effect from the 1st September, 1969. 2. Amendment of Section 3 of Nagaland Act, VI of 1964. In Section 3 of the Principal Act, for the words “two hundred and fifty per mensem”, the words “three hundred and fifty per mensem” shall be substituted.
