AN ACT further to amend the Goa, Daman and Din Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1974.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Goa in the Forty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Goa Motor Vehicles Tax (Amendment) Act, 1990.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
Section 2. Amendment of Schedule
2. Amendment of Schedule.- In the Schedule to the Goa, Daman and Diu Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1974 (Act 8 of 1974), after item III, the following item shall be inserled, namely:-
"IIIA, Goods vehicles carrying mineral ore:
For every 100 kgs. of registered laden weight or part thereof-
