Preamble

Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (Amendment) Act, 2006*

An Act further to amend the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology Act, 2003.

It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (Amendment) Act, 2006.

Section 2. Amendment of section 10 of Guj. 6 of 2003

2. Amendment of section 10 of Guj. 6 of 2003.- In the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology Act, 2003 (Guj. 6 of 2003), in section 10, in sub-section (1), after clause (iv), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-

"(iv-a) Secretary to Government (Higher and Technical Education). Education Department, Government of Gujarat.".
