An Act to amend the Chhattisgarh Rajya Pichhada Varg Ayog Adhiniyam, 1995 (No. 26 of 1995).
Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty Eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Rajya Pidihada Varg Ayog (Sanshodhan), Adhiniyam, 2007.
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Section 2. Amendment of Section 3
2. Amendment of Section 3.- In clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Chhattisgarh Rajya Pichhada Varg Ayog Adhiniyam, 1995 (No. 26 of 1995) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act),-
(a) for the word "three" the word "seven" shall be substituted.
(b) In proviso to clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Principal Act for the word "one" the word "three" shall be substituted.
Section 3. Repeal
3. Repeal.- Chhattisgarh Rajya Pichhada Varg Ayog (Sanshodhan) Ordinance, 2007 (No. 6 of 2007) is hereby repealed.
