Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil Courts (Uttaranchal Amendment) Act, 2005*

An Act further to amend the Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil Courts Act, 1887 in its application to Uttaranchal.
It Is Hereby enacted in the Fifty-fith year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title, Extent and Commencement
1. Short title, Extent and Commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Bengal, Agra And Assam Civil Courts (Uttaranchal Amendment) Act, 2005.
(2) It shall-extend to the whole of Uttaranchal.
(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf.
Section 2. Amendment of sub-section (2) of section 19
2. Amendment of sub-section (2) of section 19.- In sub-section (2) of section 19 of the Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil Courts Act, 1887-
"(2) Words ‘one lac’ for the words ‘twentyfive thousand’ shall be substituted."
