An Act further to amend the Arunachal Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1978 (Act No. 3 of 1979)
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh in the Fortieth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Act, 1989.
(2) It shall come into Force at once.
Section 2. Amendment of clause (12) of Section 2
2. Amendment of clause (12) of Section 2.- For the existing clause (12) of section 2 of the Arunachal Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1978, the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-
"(12) ‘Co-operative Year’ means the 12 months period beginning on 1st April and ending on 31st March".
