An Act Further to Amend The Andhra Pradesh Urban Areas (Development) Act, 1975.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Forty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Urban Areas (Development) (Second Amendment) Act, 1996.
(2) It shall be deemed to ??? into force on and from the 3rd February, 1996.
Section 2. Amendment of section 28
2. Amendment of section 28.- In the Andhra Pradesh Urban Areas (Development) Act, 1975, (Act 1 of 1975) in section 28, in sub-section (2), for, the first proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:-
"Provided that the development charges may be levied at different rates for different institutions of use as may be prescribed from time to time to which the land, or as the case may be the building, is used.".
Section 3. Repeal of Ordinance 10 of 1996
3. Repeal of Ordinance 10 of 1996.- The Andhra Pradesh Urban Areas (Development) (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 1996 is hereby repealed.
