An Act Further to Amend the Andhra Pradesh Motor Vehicles taxation Act, 1963.

Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Forty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment) Act, 1997.

Section 2. Amendment of the Second Schedule

2. Amendment of the Second Schedule.- In the Second Schedule to the Andhra Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1963, (Act 5 of 1963) in class 4 of the Motor Vehicles against item (iii), in column (2), for the figure "68-00", the figure "300-00" and in column (3), for the figure "225-00" the figure "1000-00" shall be substituted.
