1. Keeping in view the apparent conflict between the two-Judge Bench decision of this Court in Allahabad Bank v. Canara Bank (2000) 4 SCC 406 and the subsequent decision in International Coach Builders Ltd. v. Karnataka State Financial Corpn. .. . (2003) 10 SCC 482 as also having regard to the importance of the question of law involved, we deem it appropriate that the matters be placed before a larger Bench after obtaining orders from the Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India.

2. It may be noted that the latter judgment does not take notice of the former judgment.
