Section 1.Short title and commencement.-

(1) This Act may be called the Rajasthan Preventive Detention (Repealing) Act, 1996.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

Section 2.Repeal of Rajasthan Act No. 23 of 1970.-

The Rajasthan Preventive Detention Act,1970 (Act No. 23 of 1970) is hereby repealed.
