REVIEW PRINTING AND STATIONERY CO. v. CAMLIN
Appellate Court of Illinois, First District.
Feb 14, 1940
TRUSTS, § 212.1 — business trust, liability of trustees on trade acceptances. In action of assumpsit to recover on certain trade acceptances, defendants were liable, where trust provision under which defendants' business was operated permitted trustees to stipulate against personal liability, but no such stipulation was made, and one trustee handled all the business and was held out to the public by the other trustees as having power to contract so as to bind them.
See Callaghan's Illinois Digest, same topic and section number.
Opinion by PRESIDING JUSTICE, WOLFE.
